18 July 2023- Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a criminal trespass of a manufacturing facility in Shippensburg earlier this month. Police say they arrived to Kittatinny Manufacturing on Reading Road in Shippensburg Borough around 12:30am on July 3rd for a report of a criminal trespass but didn’t find anyone. Troopers are asking that anyone with information should contact PSP-Chambersburg at 717-264-5161 and reference PA23-877405.
Police are investigating a number of rocks thrown against a fiberglass door in St Thomas Township that caused its owner to have to replace or fix it. Police say the 71 year old male victim called police around 12:30am on July 16th to report a criminal mischief involving his side door. The incident occurred at a home on Dixie Avenue in St Thomas. Anyone with information on the incident should contact PSP-Chambersburg.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a series of attempted thefts from motor vehicles in Guilford Township during the afternoon of July 17th. Troopers responded to a location on Lincoln Way East in Guilford Township to talk to a 66 year old victim who said that sometime between July 7th and the 17th, someone had entered and gone through a number of vehicles but didn’t take anything.
Police say the perpetrator entered a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, a Honda Accord, a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, a 1955 Cadillac, and a Mercedes-Benz 450 series. Again, nothing was taken but police are still investigating.
