29 June 2023- Pennsylvania State Police announce they administered naloxone around 9:26pm on June 13th at a location on Lincoln Way West in St Thomas Township. Police say that a 39 year old Saint Thomas man was found to be experiencing a drug overdose and was subsequently administered Narcan. No criminal charges are pending because of this.
A road rage incident is being investigation that allegedly occurred at the intersection of Parnell Drive and Huber Road in Peters Township. Police responded on June 6th around 9:45am and spoke to the 68 year old St Thomas victim. He allegedly said that he was involved in the incident and that he was punched in the face during it. He suffered an apparent laceration to his eye during the incident. Police list the two vehicles involved as a 2005 Chevrolet and an Audi but details aren’t clear as to who was driving which vehicle or what body type the Audi was.
A 15 year old Chambersburg juvenile is charged with criminal mischief after allegedly damaging his mother’s car. PSP were called to a home on Heintzelman Avenue in Hamilton Township for an alleged fight between the 15 year old male and his 43 year old mother on June 11th around 8:11am. Police found over the course of their investigation that the juvenile had been kicking his mother’s vehicle during an argument that resulted in moderate damage to the car. He was subsequently charged with criminal mischief of $1000+, which is a second class misdemeanor in Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a check fraud case in Letterkenny Township from earlier this year in April. Police say that sometime around midnight on April 24th an unknown actor cashed a personal check from the victim for the value of $1,244. The location listed on police filings indicates the victim may have lived near Limekiln Road in Letterkenny Twp.
No charges seem to be filed resulting from an overdose incident in Guilford Township earlier this month. Police were dispatched to a location on Anthony Highway in Guilford Township for an apparent overdose on June 25th around 6pm. Police do not list the victim.
PSP Chambersburg is investigating an alleged theft that occurred on Buchanan Trail East in Greencastle on June 26th around 3pm. Police say that a 24 year old male victim had a magnetic trailer hitch pin stolen from him. Police continue to investigate.
PSP is investigating a reported theft in Mercersburg in the beginning of June. Police say that a male suspect has been identified but has not been named due to the ongoing investigation of the theft of an Ollo Credit Card valued at $234.64. This theft allegedly occurred between 7pm and 8:40pm on June 2nd. The location, which may have been of the victim or where the theft occurred, is listed as being on W Grandview Avenue in Mercersburg Borough.
