Franklin Co. PSP Roundup: multiple investigations affecting minors, burglary, more

08 February 2024- Pennsylvania State Police say they’re investigating an incident that may have turned physical at a home on Knob Hill Road last month. Troopers say that an investigation is ongoing but no charges have been filed following a child-line referral to PSP following an incident on January 31st of 2024.

Troopers say that a 10 year old juvenile may have had a physical altercation with a family member but the nature of that incident is unclear at this point. Again, the investigation remains ongoing.

An investigation is ongoing, PSP say, into a possible sexual assault/rape at a location in Antrim Township last month. Troopers say they were alerted to a possible sexual assault against a 15 year old girl by an ex boyfriend, who was himself a juvenile. Troopers say that the incident may have occurred sometime on January 30th at a home on Hoffman Road, but an investigation is ongoing.

No charges have been filed against a nurse in Greene Township following an incident at the end of January. PSP say they were dispatched around 4:30pm on January 29th to a location on Northfield Drive in Greene Township for a physical altercation.

Once on scene, they reportedly learned that a nurse had struck a patient. That patient, described as a 93 year old Chambersburg woman, declined prosecution and the case was closed.

A burglary in Hamilton Township last November is now being made public after multiple vehicles were stolen from a home on Black Gap Road. Troopers learned that the theft took place between midnight and 10am on November 11th, 2023 at a location on Black Gap Road.

During the commission of the crime, Troopers say that a 1992 green Kawasaki dirt bike and a red Suzuki ATV were stolen from the property. The case, however, was closed after no suspects were identified, leading to low solvability factors and no leads.
