Franklin Co. PSP Roundup: DUI crash involving 90 y/o victim, $600 in stolen perfumes, more

17 July 2023- Pennsylvania State Police responded to an accident around 11:45am on July 2nd to find a two vehicle crash involving a 62 year old man and a 90 year old man. Police say that the 62 year old man, who’s name has not been released, was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. Police say they are still investigating, but charges are likely coming.

Pennsylvania State Police were called to the TJ Maxx on Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg for a retail theft around 2:20pm on July 16th. Over the course of the investigation, police allegedly found that the store had been victimized for over $600 in perfumes. Police managed to recover just under $100 worth of perfumes but they do not have a listed suspect at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP-Chambersburg.

The theft of multiple riding lawn mowers earlier this month is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers responded to a location on Center Drive in Hamilton Township around 3:30pm on July 5th to find a 67 year old female victim without an Ingersoll Rand mower and a John Deer mower.
