Flood Watch In Effect Until 10 PM Tonight


FRANKLIN COUNTY – 9 July 2023 – Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

PA Counties effected include Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata,
Lancaster, Lebanon, Montour, Northern Lycoming, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan, Tioga, Union and York.


* IMPACTS…Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Heavy rainfall continues to fall over parts of the region, especially south of Williamsport and north of Harrisburg. Point amounts of 2-3 inches of rain are already starting to create localized flooding problems. Additional heavy rain is expected to develop over southern PA and continue over the
