Felony charges pressed against Roxbury patient

07 December 2022- A patient at the Roxbury has charges pressed against her after a confrontation with nurses. Amy Marie Louden is charged with felony aggravated assault against designated individuals and is free on an unsecured bail of $25,000.

On September 26th of this year, Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the Roxbury Treatment Center in Southampton Township. Police made contact with the victim, who was a registered nurse at the facility. The victim allegedly told police that she had to administer court-ordered medications to Amy Louden, a patient at the Center. When the victim tried to give Louden a shot, Louden allegedly became violent and hit the nurse in the face around her nose and mouth. Louden also allegedly confirmed this to police, allegedly saying that anyone who tried to give her a shot would be punched and that she did hit the nurse.

Louden is free on an unsecured bail of $25,000. Her preliminary hearing is set for December 20th.
