WILLIAMSPORT, MD – This morning, 9 January 2023, at approximately 5:45 AM, Deputies responded to the 300 block of E. Potomac Street Williamsport, MD, for a motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian involved.
On arrival, Deputies located an adult female pedestrian in the roadway. Life saving measure were administered, but unfortunately the female was deceased at the scene.
Through the course of the initial investigation, it was determined the vehicle, a 2013 GMC truck, was traveling North on East Potomac Street when it struck the female. The female was crossing the roadway when she was struck.
The deceased female was identified as Sally Ann Redding, 72, of Williamsport.
An Accident Reconstructionist was called to the scene and the investigation into this incident is on-going. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
