Falling Waters man pleads guilty in federal court to being a drug user in possession of a firearm

06 March 2024- Kyle Andrew Sensel, age 23, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, pled guilty this week in a federal court to one count of being a drug user in possession of a firearm. Sensel pleaded guilty in front of US Magistrate Judge Robert W. Trumble in the Northern District of West Virginia’s federal court.

According to court documents and statements made in court, Sensel, a known unlawful user of controlled substances, was arrested after he was found with a loaded .357 Magnum during a traffic stop.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Lara Omps-Botteicher is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.

The Potomac Highlands Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.
