Join Michaux State Forest staff for a 1.5 to 2-mile walk in the woods on Sunday, October 1st from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. Explore the Smoke Zimmerman Cross Country Ski Trails for local plants and wildlife.
Note:
-The trail is reasonably flat and moderate in difficulty with rocks and exposed roots in areas.
-The walk is not wheelchair accessible.
-Please bring water and sturdy footwear.
-Leashed pets that are comfortable with other dogs and large groups are welcome.
-The nearest public restroom to this trailhead is located in Caledonia State Park.
-Cell phone service can be unreliable throughout the forest, please plan accordingly.
