Austin age 26 was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident and was airlifted to a trauma hospital where he received emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. He also suffered extensive injuries including a punctured lung. Austin is still in a coma and remained in the hospital for several months. He is now at home with a feeding tube and, needing extensive medical equipment and 24 hour a day care.
