Both the 19th annual Harvest Hoedown and the final Community Yard Sale of 2021 will take place this Saturday, October 9 at Fairgrounds Park.
The Community Yard Sale will be held from 7am-2pm with each of the 72 stalls hosting an independent vendor offering gems for you to discover. The Harvest Hoedown will begin at noon and will conclude at 4pm. Due to the Skatepark construction, the event will be held in a new location near the North Pavilion area of Fairgrounds Park situated by the soccer fields.
At the Harvest Hoedown, the first 1,000 children ages 12 and under will receive a free pumpkin. The day’s activities include scarecrow making by Bester Community of Hope (while supplies last), pumpkin painting, balloon giveaways, face painting, Washington County Antique Tractor Club hayrides, a petting zoo, pony rides, archery and laser tag, craft and food vendors, and more!
Harvest Hoedown is presented by the City of Hagerstown Parks & Recreation Department and these generous community-minded sponsors: AmeriGroup, Fed Ex Ground, Fulton Bank, and T-Mobile.
Fairgrounds Park is located at 351 North Cleveland Avenue. The physical address for the Community Yard Sale is 521 North Cannon Avenue
