Dress up the kids, pack up the car and head to Fairgrounds Park for the Drive Through Trick-or-Treat event on Thursday, October 27 from 4-8pm.
Families are invited to experience this unique, safe, and fun alternative to going door-to-door this Halloween season. During this trick-or-treat adventure, participants will stay inside their vehicles, driving through the park while enjoying wandering entertainment and Halloween surprises along the way.
The City of Hagerstown Parks & Recreation Division is pleased to partner with Manning Media (106.9 The Eagle, Max Country & 102.1 More FM) to make this event happen.
While admission is free, tickets are required. Each free ticket allows one vehicle to enter the event. Tickets are available at The Greens at Hamilton Run golf course at 2 S. Cleveland Ave. from 7am-dusk through the day of the event.
Entry times on Thursday are on the hour at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm via Cannon Avenue. The trek through the park will be highlighted by stops at a variety of spooky vendors where treats will be collected. Event-goers are encouraged to visit the Marketplace as they exit the park, featuring Bella’s Bites, balloons, and other special entertainment.
Fairgrounds Park will close to the public at 2pm on Thursday. Entrances on Cleveland Avenue and Security Boulevard will be closed. Those with tickets will enter the park from Cannon Avenue only, beginning at 3:30pm.
