31 July 2023- Hagerstown Police are not releasing a name of the person pronounced deceased following a broad daylight shooting in Hagerstown yesterday afternoon.
HPD were called to Apartment 101 at 1028 Brinker Drive, Hagerstown at 3:08pm for a reported shooting involving multiple people. When police arrived, they found one victim dead from a gunshot wound and another who was struck multiple times but alive. The second victim’s condition, as of time of publication, is just that they “survived”.
Police say the victims are believed to be familiar with the suspect and that victim info will be released after notification of family. Hagerstown police have not formally issued information about a subject as of this time.
