UPDATE: First responders have vacated the area and Kennedy Street is flowing as normal. There is no update known to the status of those that were taken by air ambulance.
19 October 2023- Police and first responders are asking people to avoid the area around 181 Kennedy Street in the borough.
First responders are on scene for what was originally a building collapse that was since defined as a balcony collapse from a 2 story building.
Two people are currently being airlifted for medical attention, with one of them addressed as a pediatric patient.
