UPDATE from the Franklin Fire Company: Station 4 and surrounding units are responding to 1000 Garber Rd, Martins Potato Rolls for a 300’x80’ Barn Fire. Barn is full of storage items and has trailers attached, with fire and heavy smoke showing. It is NOT connected to the main building. Deputy Chief 47 has command of the 17 Box. Truck 42 and Engine 43 are on scene.
09 February 2023- Smoke is coming out of a back barn near Martin’s Famous Pastry Shop on Garber Road, just outside of Chambersburg. The barn is well off the roadway so traffic will not be impacted. Give a wide berth to first responders heading to the scene.
Franklin Fire, Chambersburg, and Fayetteville confirmed to be on scene.
