15 September 2023- As the Pennsylvania Department of Aging is developing a 10-year strategic plan designed to help transform the infrastructure and coordination of services for Pennsylvania’s older adults, they have set up a number of listening sessions to hear from the public. One of those listening sessions is coming to Cumberland County and everyone is invited to attend.
Cumberland County’s listening session is being hosted by Cumberland County Aging & Community Services at the Carlisle United Methodist Church, 333 S. Spring Garden St. at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Residents are encouraged to review the Master Plan for Older Adults reference document before attending to get a better idea of what will be included in this plan.
If you are unable to make it to the meeting, instructions on how you can provide feedback online, by email or mail can be found on the PA Department of Aging website at aging.pa.gov/MasterPlan.
