CPD Roundup: warrants for aggravated assault, harassment, multiple thefts

17 February 2023- Chantal Ruffen is wanted for aggravated assault and harassment.  Anyone with information on her location is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police Dept. or leave a tip on Crime Watch. 


Alejandro Jr. stole a case of beer and beef Jerky from Sheetz.  Alejandro is now wanted for Retail theft.  Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police Dept. or leave a tip on Crime Watch. 


On 02/14/2023, the Chambersburg Police were dispatched to the 900 block of S Coldbrook Ave for criminal mischief. The license plate of a vehicle was found to be damaged. It appeared as if someone attempted to rip the license plate off of the vehicle. The incident was to have occurred overnight on February 13, 2023. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to submit a tip on Crimewatch.


On 02/08/2023, CPD received a report of a male individual that took items from the Giant Foods, located at 993 Wayne Ave.  The person shown in this photo may have information relevant to an ongoing police investigation. He/she is a person of interest, but not necessarily a suspect at this time. On 01/28/23 the Chambersburg Police Department took a report of a lost wallet. The wallet is a small black wallet with a zipper and a green lizard on the front. The wallet was dropped in the 100 block of S Second St. The wallet contained a PA Driver’s license and M&T Bank debit card.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact CPD at 717-264-4131 or submit a tip through the Crimewatch website. 


On 01/21/2023, The Chambersburg Police Department responded to Hollywell Ave for an accident involving damage at a local business. The vehicle pictured in this post was the vehicle which crashed into the property and ran from the scene. The Chambersburg Police Department is requesting help in identifying who this vehicle belongs to, or who was driving it at the time of the crash.
