19 July 2023- Vernon Mallk Johnson deposited a fraudulent check written out for $4900.00 into an ATM machine knowing full well the check was fraudulent and would not be honored. Johnson is now wanted for Forgery and Bad Checks. Anyone with information on Johnson’s location is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police Dept. or leave a tip on Crime Watch.
Da’Shawn Simms Punched the victim in the face with a closed fist causing multiple injuries to her face.
The Chambersburg Police Department arrested Simms, Da’Shawn Lamont on Monday July 15th, 2023.
On 07/16/2023, officers found an intoxicated male causing a disturbance in the 400 block of Hollywell Ave. The male, Anyel Nunez Munoz, was subsequently arrested for public intoxication and transported to Franklin County Jail.
On July 14th 2023, a citizen turned in property that was found in the 700 block of Stanley Ave. The owner may claim the property at the Chambersburg Police Department.
