CPD continues to be blessed with a very gracious and caring community that has been very generous with its donations to our K9 fund. The donated money will provide for the cost of the K9 dog, the K9 academy for the new K9 handler, and all associated equipment costs. The new K9 will be purchased in June, 2024. The K9 handler will then attend the K9 academy in September.  We expect our new K9 to be on patrol in mid-October.

CPD thanks the Sons of American Legion, Post 46, for their donation. They say that they are humbled by their dedication to this community and this agency and are very grateful for their kindness and support. It is because of donations such as this that the agency, CPD says, continues to be successful and provide the best service possible to the community.
