CPD Roundup: Man charged with encouraging juveniles to fight, filming the incident

10 July 2024- On 6/10/2024 CPD was dispatched to 72 Lincoln Way West for a theft of electrical services.  Chambersburg Borough Service Center employees shut off the power to a vacant unit on 5/13/2024 and a lock was attached to prevent usage.  An employee later discovered the lock had been cut off of the electrical unit and power was used.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is requested to contact the Chambersburg Police Department or leave a tip on Crimewatch.


On 4/6/2024, CPD took a report of a fight between juveniles that occurred in the borough the previous day (4/5/2024).  CPD was given video footage of the fight and all the involved parties were identified.  Braxton Davidor was seen on video encouraging the fight between the two juveniles and it was discovered that Davidor drove one of the juveniles to the fight.  Davidor was charged with corruption of a minor and disorderly conduct.  The two juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct for fighting.


On 6/29/2024 at approximately 1:59 AM a CPD officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Tyeshawn Worrell after observing multiple traffic violations.  After further investigation it was revealed that Worrell was under the influence of alcohol and had a .126% BAC. Criminal charges were filed against Worrell for DUI.
