CPD Roundup: Loitering and prowling, hit and run, more

13 November 2023- On 9/27/2023, two females stole from Target on Norland Ave. Throughout the investigation, Hiral Trivedi, was identified as one of the suspects. According to court filings she has not been formally charged as of yet, but CPD indicate a charge or charges are incoming.

On 10/28/2023 Chambersburg Police responded to a business in the Unit block of S Main St for a report of a theft.  Contact was made with the business owner who said that overnight, someone stole a flower out of a flower pot in front of the business.  The investigation revealed that at 9:57 PM on 10/27/2023, the suspect stole a flower from the flower pot and walked South on S Main St.  The person shown in this photo may have information relevant to an ongoing police investigation, he is a person of interest but not necessarily a suspect at this time.  If you have information which could assist in identifying this person, please contact the Chambersburg Police Department or submit a tip on Crimewatch.  

On 11/11/23 at around 2am a dark colored SUV possibly a Nissan Xterra struck a parked Honda Civic head on in the 400 block of Lantern Lane and then fled the scene.  There should be significant front-end damage to the SUV. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police department or you can leave a tip on Crime Watch. 

CPD is investigating a loitering and prowling incident that occurred in the area of S Federal St near W Queen St on 11/06/2023 at approximately 1911 hours. Anyone with information regarding this incident is requested to contact the Chambersburg Police Department or leave a tip on Crimewatch. 

William Rivera-Guasp did attempt to set the victim’s residence on fire while the victim was still inside, he is now wanted for Arson as well as Criminal Mischief.  Anyone with information on Rivera-Guasp’s location is asked to contact the Chambersburg Borough Police Department or leave a tip on Crime Watch.
