07 December 2022- On 12/02/22 the Chambersburg Police Department was dispatched to a residence on S Second St regarding a damaged concrete planter. Sometime during the past several days someone knocked the pictured swan over damaging the planter. If anyone has information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact CPD at 717-264-4131 or submit a tip through the Crimewatch Website.
On 11/27/2022 CPD officers were dispatched to a hit and run at the intersection of N. Main Street and King Street. The victims vehicle had been struck by a red pick up truck which then fled the scene. The vehicle and operator shown in the picture are a person of interest in the case and not necessarily a suspect. Anyone with information as to who the truck and or the operator may be is asked to contact the Chambersburg Borough Police or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
