CPD Roundup: 17 year old charged after allegedly threatening to kill her mother

14 November 2023- On 11/09/23 at 2119 hours, the Chambersburg Police Department were dispatched to an address on Ashley Drive for a reported Domestic Dispute between a 17 y/o female and her mother. The victim reported that her daughter pushed her up against the wall and stated that she would kill her. The victim locked herself inside a bedroom in fear of being physically assaulted again. The juvenile was charged with Terroristic Threats and Harassment. 

On 09/23/23 at 1456 hours, Chambersburg Police Department responded to 1080 Wayne Avenue for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. An investigation revealed that Bethany Joy Taylor was under the influence of a controlled substance. Taylor was charged with (1) count of Driving under influence of alcohol or controlled substance and (1) count of possession of drug paraphernalia. 

11/14/2023, Bridgette Paul was cited for Harassment regarding an incident that took place on 10/25/2023 where she slapped a juvenile in the face. 

On 10/25/2023, CPD was dispatched to the 100 block of E King St for a report of a hit and run accident. An investigation revealed that the suspect, Gianni Eyer, rear-ended an occupied vehicle and fled from the scene without exchanging information. Eyer was charged with with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property and following too closely.

On 10/2/2023, CPD was dispatched to the 1300 block of Orchard Drive for an attempted theft of coins from several carwash machines. An investigation revealed that the suspect, Joshua Snyder, used power tools to attempt to make access into the coin machines. However, Snyder was unable to gain access into the coin machines. Snyder did cause damage to the coin machines as a result. Snyder was apprehended by CPD on 11/6/2023 for charges of Criminal Mischief, Criminal Attempt Theft and Driving on a Suspended License DUI Related
