- Adult swim at the Aquatic Center will not return this season. Several community members, over the last few meetings, have voiced their concern about kids getting out of control. More attention has seemingly been paid to removing, and banning for the season, individuals who are not adhering to the rules. Council concluded with the consideration of an age restricted water feature in the future.
- A new Councilperson was installed after the untimely death of Larry Hensley. Stacy Short of Garber Street was sworn in Monday night.
- Mayor Hock oversaw the oath of office for Chambersburg Police Department promotions: Matt Bietsch to Lieutenant, Joe Jakubic to Sergeant, Patrick Hinds to Corporal.
