Corderman Appointed To Maryland Senate

ANNAPOLIS – Maryland Delegate Paul Corderman was appointed to the Maryland Senate by Governor Larry Hogan Thursday.

“I humbled by the decision,” Corderman said. “I think it’s a really good opportunity for me and for the community.”

Delegate Corderman will represent Legislative District 2 in Washington County, filling the seat vacated by former Senator Andrew Serafini. He is currently a member of the House Appropriations Committee.

“I am confident that Delegate Corderman will continue to be a strong advocate for constituents in Washington County in his new role as state senator,” said Governor Hogan.

The District 2 seat serves the eastern portion of Washington County including Hagerstown, Smithsburg, and South County.
