King reportedly obscured his face from PSP as he pulled in, which prompted a stop.

When Troopers approached, they say they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle as well as saw a plastic baggie containing orange pills in the center console of the car. When King allegedly told Troopers he didn’t have a driver’s license on him, which meant he was not free to exit the scene. After a short amount of time, King then allegedly looked at the Trooper and bolted, prompting a foot chase.

Lepatrick King was taken into custody about a block away near Rural King on Wayne Avenue. He was taken to Chambersburg Hospital for trouble breathing, but was later released to Franklin County Jail. A search of his vehicle solely based off initial viewing reportedly located 39 Adderall pills in two separate baggies. Since King denied consent to search his vehicle, PSP have applied for a warrant and new charges could be filed in the future.
