BREAKING: Fulton County Coroner, PSP release key updates after last week’s infant death

18 March 2024- The Fulton County Coroner’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police have released more information about the infant that was pronounced deceased last Monday morning at a main intersection in McConnellburg.

At this time there still is no suspect, but a detail of Pennsylvania State Police was completed today at the intersection of US-522 and Lincoln Way East. Troopers were contacting drivers and asking anyone who traveled through that specific location on the morning of or night prior to the incident that has an in-car camera to review the footage in an attempt to observe anything relative to this case.

Details on the child have been made available to the public, as well. The child has not been identified but is being described as a white male, approximately 8 months in gestation. Specifically, the child was about 36-37 weeks gestation, had brown hair, blue eyes, and weighed only about 4lbs.

At this time, the child’s information has been uploaded to the national and publicly available NamUs database. That database is used by law enforcement all across the country to catalogue missing and unidentified persons.

As previously said, anyone who may have footage immediately preceding the incident should contact PSP McConnellsburg or submit a tip on the PSP’s Crimewatch.
