HAGERSTOWN – After the resignation of former Mayor Emily Keller, the City of Hagerstown names a new mayor from within their own ranks. Tekesha Martinez was named by council Tuesday as their next mayor. Martinez is currently a sitting councilwoman, representing the city at large. The Councilwoman has been a member of the governing body since her election in November of 2020. She was elected with no one on council opposing the vote.
