Big Cove Tannery man busted after police allegedly find fentanyl in his underwear

20 December 2022- A trip for pizza and a soda lands a Fulton County man in jail for DUI and drug related charges. Ryan Christopher Gracey is behind bars after failing to post a bail of $75,000. Gracey is charged with one count of felony possession with intent to deliver, 49 counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor DUI, misdemeanor DUI of a controlled substance, an additional separate DUI misdemeanor, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and two summary offenses of careless driving and driving on an expired license.

On June 3rd of this year, Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the Family Dollar on Buchanan Trail, Ayr Township of Fulton County to reports of a man slumped in his truck. Upon arrival, police found a man “dazed and disheveled” sitting in the front seat as McConnellsburg EMS administered care to him. ID’ing him as Ryan Gracey, Gracey allegedly told police he was “good, well could be better” and that he drove into town to pick up a soda and his pizza. Gracey allegedly said he took a “perc 30” last night and hasn’t slept much lately. Gracey was allegedly spoke low, slow, and raspy and later allegedly showed signs of impairment of driving.

After talking to someone on scene, police allegedly asked Gracey if he had any drugs on hand, which he denied. Told that Gracey allegedly had put something down his pants, a search of his person allegedly found 49 clear capsules containing an unknown white powder in his underwear. Later testing of the capsules found to be Norfentanyl through PSP Lab tests. The 49 capsules weighed in at 8.96 grams.

Gracey is behind bars on $75,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for December 28th.
