LETTERKENNY – Sunday, 10 September 2023, there will be a memorial service to remember and recognize the events that occurred on September 11, 2001 to be held at the historic Letterkenny Chapel.
Colonel Jonathan G. Heitman, U.S. Army War College will address those assembled and speak to “Terrorism/Counterterrorism in Today’s World.”
The event begins at 2pm.
“This will be our first event to be held inside the beautiful chapel since COVID.” according to G Warren Elliott, President of the organizing group. “It is proper to remember and reflect on the events of that tragic day; we have a good program and great speaker.” said Elliott.
