18 September 2023- Pennsylvania State Police announce the arrest of a 16 year old Newville boy following a nearly 13 mile chase earlier this month.
Troopers initiated a pursuit with a blue 2016 Subaru before 2:35am on September 14th, with it lasting for about 12.5 miles before PSP-Chambersburg units were able to utilize spike strips on the vehicle. When police approached the vehicle, the allegedly found the vehicle had four occupants. Additionally, the vehicle was found to be stolen.
During a search of the occupants, police allegedly found two illegally possessed firearms. It is unclear how old the occupants of the vehicle were or who exactly they were, but PSP says that charges are set to be filed against all four people inside of the vehicle. The only arrest at this moment seems to be the 16 year old male from Newville.
