$150,000 bail given to alleged Chambersburg fentanyl, crack dealer

14 March 2024- An alleged Chambersburg-area drug dealer is facing multiple felony charges after a search warrant this morning reportedly finds fentanyl, marijuana, and more. Sean Banks is charged with three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and is behind bars on $150,000 bail in Franklin County.

Pennsylvania State Police say they executed a search warrant on Banks’ home in Hamilton Township around 6:05am this morning, March 14th. Upon entering the home, Banks was taken into custody without incident. In initial interviews, Banks reportedly admitted there were pressed M30 pills (fentanyl) and marijuana in the home.

A search of Banks’ home allegedly yielded more than that. PSP say that they found a “large quantity” of marijuana, pressed M30 pills, and crack cocaine. All of the items were seized and are being stored by PSP Chambersburg. Additionally, PSP reportedly found on scene drug packaging, a digital scale, and US currency.

Banks failed to post bail of $150,000 and is behind bars in Franklin County.
